HaulEye Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 4, 2026
HaulEye is a load-tracking app for truck drivers. It is operated by Haulan ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app collects and how it is used.
What we collect
- Phone number — used to sign you in and match you to the loads your broker has assigned to your number.
- Location — collected only while you have tracking turned on for a load, including in the background so you can lock your phone and drive. Turning tracking off, marking the load delivered, or signing out stops location collection immediately.
- Messages and photos — chat messages and documents (such as proof of delivery) you choose to send to the broker for a load.
- Push token — so the app can notify you about your loads.
How it's used
Your location and updates are shared with the freight broker who manages the load you're hauling, so they can see shipment progress without calling or texting you. We do not sell your data, show ads, or use your data for advertising or tracking across other apps.
Notifications — why keep them on
HaulEye uses push notifications for one thing: your work. New load assignments, messages from your broker, and delivery confirmations. If notifications are off, you can miss a broker message or a new load and end up getting a phone call instead — the exact thing this app exists to prevent. We never send marketing or promotional notifications.
Retention
Load, chat and tracking history are part of the broker's business records for that shipment and are retained by the broker. Location collection is tied strictly to active tracking sessions you start.
Deleting your account
In the app, tap Delete my account at the bottom of your loads screen. This removes your sign-in and push notification registrations from our systems immediately. You can also email us to request deletion.
