What is HaulEye?
HaulEye is load tracking for freight brokers and dispatchers. You add a load, HaulEye texts the driver a link, and the driver taps Start Tracking in the HaulEye app. You see the truck on a live map with arrivals, ETAs, chat and the POD in one place.
Does the driver need to make an account?
No. The driver signs in with the cell number on the load and a text code. There is no password, and the app is free for drivers.
Do I need to switch my TMS?
No. HaulEye runs on its own next to whatever you use today, whether that is another TMS, a load board, or a spreadsheet. If you use Haulan, HaulEye tracking is already built in.
What if the driver never opens the app?
HaulEye texts the driver for you, politely, like a dispatcher would. It only calls when texts go quiet, and it never calls on the delivery side. You stop being the person chasing updates.
How often does the location update?
About every 3 minutes while the truck is moving and about every 10 minutes while it is parked, even with the phone locked in a mount. The truck shows as live, waiting, or no signal, so you always know how fresh the dot is.
Will it kill the driver's battery?
It is built not to. The app uses the phone's own location updates, backs off when the truck is parked, and stops completely the moment the load is delivered or tracking is turned off.
Can my customer see the load?
Yes. Send your shipper a tracking link with your company name and logo on it. They see the live map and status without calling you.
How much does it cost?
Starter is $100 a month with 10 tracked loads included, then $2.50 per tracked load. Pro is $150 a month with 10 tracked loads included, then $1.00 per tracked load. A load only counts once the driver actually starts sharing, and re-sending the link is free.
Do I have to be a freight broker?
No. Shippers, manufacturers, distributors, receivers and carriers use HaulEye too. If you need to know where a truck is, you can track it yourself.
Is there a contract?
No contract and no setup fee. Stop any time.
Does it work on Android?
Yes. HaulEye and HaulEye Dispatch are both on Google Play for Android and on the App Store for iPhone. Drivers without a smartphone app can still be tracked by text.
Is the driver's location private?
Location is collected only while the driver has tracking on for a load, and it is shared only with the broker on that load. HaulEye never sells location data or uses it for ads.
